With every stroke of oil paint over your giclee canvas print, we add depth, texture, and emotion to your photograph.

    While digital prints capture moments, our hand-painted oil details capture emotions. Feel the warmth, depth, and texture that only oil on canvas can provide. Our artistic approach ensures that every piece is as unique as the memory it represents.

    It starts with a concept and a portrait session.

    Book a creative portrait session with Frances and Greg first, (or if you are a past client, simply select the photograph you would like printed and painted). Before the session, you will ideate on possibilities, concepts, and come up with something that is perfect for you (or you and your partner). Sessions can take place in studio, at home, or on location. Afterwards, you’ll receive a proofing gallery with selections, where we can narrow down your favorites.

    Once you’ve selected the photos for printing and painting, we will complete final edits, and order the giclee quality digital canvas prints. Printing typically takes 2-3 weeks. After we receive the prints, Greg will begin painting layers of oil paints and glazes on the prints. Because oil paints take longer to dry, this process can take 2-4 weeks. Final delivery of photographs takes up to 12 weeks.

    HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE?

    Following your photoshoot until the delivery of the final, dried oil painted print is on average 2 months, but can take up to 3 months.

    CAN I SEND YOU AN IMAGE TO PAINT OVER?

    We will evaluate collaborative projects on a case by case basis.

    HOW DOES PAYMENT WORK?

    A.
    Booking and payment for photo sessions and hand-painted works are split into two phases. You must pay a $400 retainer and concept design fee at the time of booking your photo session, and the remaining balance on or before the day of the shoot. If you choose to add additional hand painted prints beyond the package you’ve selected later on, you must pay for the prints in full before ordering.

    CAN I BOOK A SESSION WITH MY DOG OR KID?

    Yes. We love creating meaningful, beautiful art that will impact your life in a positive way and make you feel good. If that means creating with your fur family (or human family) we’re down!

    ARE THE PRINTS FRAMED?

    Our prints come on 1.5″ inch thick canvas wraps, without a frame. We have framing options available if you already know the style a look you want for your living space.

    WHAT'S IN THE ONLINE GALLERY?

    You will receive an online gallery of finished, edited images of which you will have download rights to the full resolution files. Expect around 25-30 finished images per hour of shooting.

    WHO DOES THE PAINTING?

    Painting is done by my fiancee and life partner, Greg Hastain. We met when Greg invited me over to his house to help create reference images for photorealistic oil painting, and we’ve been on a creative journey together ever since!

    DOES THIS INCLUDE HAIR & MAKE UP?

    Session fee does not include Hair and Makeup but that we work with a variety of professionals and are happy to make recommendations. Many of our bridal clients choose to book their session on the same day they do their wedding hair and make-up trial.

    DO YOU RETOUCH THE PHOTOGRAPHS?

    Yes. Retouching to your preference is included in the digital photographs you receive in your online gallery, as well as anything adjustments you’d prefer to your final hand painted art piece.

    CAN I HAVE PRIVACY?

    Everyones comfort level regarding privacy is different, and we happily discuss and respect these boundaries with every client. Your galleries are password protected and no one will see the photographs but you. Our clients have full control over who sees the photographs. We understand that not everyone will want their images displayed online. We go over these boundaries during our initial call.

    HOW DO WE DECIDE ON WHAT KINDS OF PHOTOS WILL BE CREATED?

    It starts with an initial design call where we begin the process of learning about who you are, what you like, and begin to let the creative juices flow and be inspired by your story and spirit. Some clients know exactly what they want and we faciliate bringing their vision to life. Other clients benefit more from a creative process where we uncover our client aesthetic preferences. We will make sure you are over the moon beyond thrilled with what we create together.

    WHAT HAPPENS IF I NEED TO CANCEL OR RESCHEDULE?

    We understand that life happens. If you need to reschedule, your session fee and retainer can be credited towards a new date for up to 6 months from your original session date. The retainer is refundable up to 24 hours before your concept call, after your concept and call the deposit/design fee is non-refundable.
